Welcome to my studio! 🐦‍⬛

Hi, I'm Tonya Crow,

Born and raised in the Ozarks, I began my artistic journey through commissions, creating pieces inspired by other people’s stories, ideas, and visions. Working on commissions taught me how to translate someone else’s imagination into a finished piece. Each project challenged me in new ways and helped me build a strong foundation in composition, color, and storytelling.

Over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to the visions inside my own mind. I began to feel the drive to create beyond the boundaries of commissions - to explore my own ideas, feelings, and narratives without constraint. That shift opened up a new chapter in my art. I started creating original pieces, letting my imagination guide me into places I hadn’t yet discovered. Making art from my own head felt like stepping through a doorway into endless possibilities.

Landscapes have always been my primary focus. I’m endlessly fascinated by the way nature can feel both familiar and otherworldly, and I love building scenes that invite the viewer to step inside.

As I continued to create and sell original pieces, I eventually expanded my work to include prints. Expanding into prints has allowed my work to reach more viewers, without losing the essence of the original pieces.

Each work is made with purpose, and I hope it finds a meaningful place in your home.

Thank you for being here!
